Choir Membership
There are no auditions although ability to read music is an advantage. We encourage a potential member to
come to rehearsals for 2 or 3 weeks to see if he/she enjoys being with us and with no obligation. We then ask that
the person becomes a member if he/she wishes to continue in the Choir.
All voices are welcome, with the proviso
below, and we are always delighted to have students and young people as members. (Under 19’s do not
pay a membership fee).
Choir Season
The Choir is now rehearsing for its March concert and any new member wishing
to join us should do so as soon as possible. The new season for the Summer concert will commence on Thursday 12 April 2012.
If you are interested in singing with us we welcome tenor voices but, in order to maintain a healthy balance,
we may have to restrict the number of other voice parts for the time being. However, please still get in touch with our
Membership Secretary if you feel you would like to sing with our Choir, and he will inform you of the latest position regarding
your joining us.
