Director of Music: John Hobbs. John
was a Choral Scholar at Christ Church, Cambridge and he holds a BA and teaching qualification. He is also Director of
Music of the North Devon and Bude Choral Societies and organist at Holy Trinity Church, Weare Gifford. John often sings with
The Duchy Opera Company and, in addition, he receives many requests as a baritone/bass soloist for concerts given by societies
and groups.
Assistant Director of Music/Accompanist: Dr
Trevor Bray studied for his PhD at St John's College, Cambridge, and was senior lecturer for the Open University for a
number of years, contributing to many of its music courses. Amongst his interests is research into 20th century British music.
